Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been an actress and model in England since the 1980s. In the year 1990 there was speculation that she might have been Hugh Grant's girlfriend. Many critics argued that the track promoted same-sex sexual relations while others said the scenario which was depicted on the album attracted more male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl, an enthralling combination of sexual satire with a refined melody helped I Kissed a Girl to achieve the number one spot in many countries and drive sales for her album, One of the Boys. Hot N Cold is a popular second track. Perry also wrote a large portion of the lyrics on the album.
