Paula Patton

Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles and was raised by a middle-class family. As a child her dreams were big. Her most well-known films are the horror film Precious along with Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in the Los Angeles middle-class household. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities, and she loved drama in particular. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates and was a part of school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to act in high school, and she decided to pursue acting as a profession. She was enrolled at The University of Southern California in an summer camp and was awed by her experience. It was a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully her first job was as an assistant for TV documentaries. After that, she began producing documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she was aspired to be an actor. The path to acting began when she had an insignificant role as Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in numerous famous television and film productions.
